I posted
here instructions on how to make this fun craft using otherwise wasted CDs. This weekend I went on another CD painting spree, and this is now the final collection on our living room wall. Some of them are difficult to see when captured on camera, but you can get an idea of what they turned out like!

Beautiful! I have been thinking about something like this. What kind of paint & tool did you use?
And how did you stick the CDs to the wall?
Thanks! I used acrylic paint, and I etched some of them with a mechanical pencil with the lead barely out and some of them with the tip of a tiny screwdriver.
In my old apartment, I had success using blue tape on the backs to keep them on the wall. I just moved though, and it seems that the tape doesn't stick as well here, so I'm thinking that I will probably end up using clear tacks and letting them hang by the center hole in the CD. Maybe I can minimize the holes in the wall by using a combination of tacks and also taping the CDs to each other where they touch.
They are very simple to make, and I do love the color and sparkle! I hope that you enjoy yours if you end up making them. :)
